Speaking of Macau’s new Portuguese grab and go these recent years’ time – Pastéisde Chaves Macau probably own the most authentic beef pastry in town; introduced by Portuguese Chef Pedro originate from his hometown Chaves, all the way to Macau.

Pastéis de Chaves Macau Originated in Chaves, a city in Northern Portugal. Its a small, compact specialty store that offers a 150-year-old Portuguese traditional style pastries and savory items. Inspired by three Portuguese chefs, now managing together with the same owner of the 3 Sardines and Albergue 101 respectively; they provide most traditional and authentic Portuguese snacks.

Located near Estrada do Repouso, a special nostalgic wood carving signs hung high up. There are nostalgic decos that exhibits at the display window close to the entrance. The design n inspirations were very similar to the 3 sardines, aimed bringing out the most nostalgic European-style vintage layout. Inside the interior full loads of old-style dial in phones and flour scales; it was so eye-catching – definitely a good spot for check ins. When stepped inside, it looks like as if a huge transparent window house placed in the middle, with a decent, open kitchen; coupled with the dark brown long wooden bench together with a red themed design, it accentuates European nostalgic features along.
